The Coast to Capital Growth Hub is a government fully funded service supporting businesses in the Creative, Digital and IT sector in the Coast to Capital area. The team of Growth Relationship Managers work with the businesses, assess their needs and introduce solutions.

 

Sector Information

 

The Creative, Digital and IT sector includes Computer Software Programming and Publishing which is strong in the Brighton & Hove, Horsham, Crawley, Epsom and Ewell and Mole Valley areas. Key businesses include Creative Assembly and Brandwatch. The sub-sector employs just over 6,500 people, accounting for just over 3% of national employment in the sub-sector.

 

This sector includes Data Processing & Hosting businesses that are centred in the Crawley, Mid Sussex, Mole Valley, Reigate and Banstead areas. Key employers include You At Work, Bunyad and The Focus Group. The sub-sector employs 1,600 people in the area, accounting for 3.6% of national employment in the sub-sector.

 

This sector includes Telecommunications businesses that are centred in the Horsham, Mid Sussex, Mole Valley, Worthing, Adur and Brighton & Hove areas. Key employers include Aircom International, Spirent and Berrycom Solutions. The sub-sector employs 5,250 people in the area, accounting for 3.3% of national employment in the sub-sector.

The Growth Champions are a network of consultants, all experts in their respected fields. The network can provide specialist support for businesses to unlock further growth. Coast to Capital are able to fully fund a day of specialist support from this Network.

 

 

GROWTHmapper Diagnostics & DNAsix

 

The Growth Relationship Managers can provide comprehensive business diagnostics through GROWTHmapper which includes a set of assessment questions designed to underpin coaching and advice, as well as a digital coaching programme ‘DNAsix’ that can help your business survive, compete and ultimately thrive in today’s digital marketplace.

The Growth Hub supports investment enquiries and opportunities in partnership with the Department for International Trade and local partners. The team help identify solutions and support for existing and potential investors including those from overseas.
