Help to Grow is a £520 million government lead scheme providing two business support programmes

Help to Grow: Management and Help to Grow: Digital.

Both programmes are designed to help business leaders learn new skills, reach more customers and take their business to the next level.

Expanded eligibility for the Help to Grow: Digital scheme

  1. Minimum number of employees the business must have from 5 to 1.
    This means the number of businesses able to apply is almost tripling in size, with up to 1.2 million UK businesses being eligible to access discounts worth up to £5,000 on approved software.
  1. Launch of an expanded offer, adding e-Commerce software to support businesses to sell online and reach new markets. Including helping businesses to manage their inventory, take payments and gather data and insights on customers' needs. 
  1. The Help to Grow: Digital scheme will also support one-to-one advice for small and medium-size businesses on digital tech adoption.

From December 2021, Help to Grow: Digital will offer free impartial support via an online platform to help SMEs:

Eligible SMEs will also be able to claim a voucher covering up to 50% the costs of approved technology solutions, up to a maximum of £5,000.
