ABOUT

Founded in 2011, Cambian Engineering Solutions Ltd provide a complete solution to the use of engineered wood within the Engineering and Architectural sectors.

Our business is split into 2 divisions, each focused on our core areas of operation, Advanced Engineering and Action Sports Facilities. They operate from a single shared design and production facility near Billingshurst, in the South East of England, delivering projects throughout UK & Europe.

Their team's expertise covers the full project cycle from Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing, to project management and installation.

THE CHALLENGE

Piers had little time to engage in marketing activities that would help improve the company's performance. He identified that he required external support to tackle a range of challenges, for the action sports and leisure and engineering contract supply markets.

These included:

• Improving awareness of the company's design and manufacturing capability
• Developing online and offline collateral to promote the company
• Help in focusing on the best sectors and business development opportunities in areas that can generate profitable income in the future

THE SOLUTION

The Growth Hub's Amanda Geel agreed that the issue identified by Piers was a key barrier to future growth and introduced the company to one of the Growth Hub's network of Growth Champions who was funded to provide a day's support on the work, tasks and collateral required to help the business improve awareness to clients and to make suggestions on business development opportunities for future business.
