Helping Roasted Coffee Ltd Recover From Covid 19 -

Since opening in 2006, Roasted Coffee Ltd based in Henfield have been supplying a variety of freshly roasted coffee beans to customers around the southeast region on a wholesale basis. The team at Roasted are passionate about coffee and are well known in the industry for their exceptional knowledge and customer service.


Roasted have built a large and very loyal customer base of wholesale customers over the years, and like many other businesses, COVID-19 had a massive impact on trade.


Founder and Director, Richard Yalden used this as an opportunity to look at other routes to market. After reaching out to us and receiving support from one of our Growth Champions, Richard applied for a Business Recovery Grant to create a coffee experience centre and training room. The application was approved, and the transformation commenced.


The grant, alongside investment from the business, allowed Roasted to purchase an in-house coffee roaster and renovate the existing barista training room into a coffee experience centre at the premises in Henfield, West Sussex, now formally known as ‘The Roasted Room’. This has enabled the company to share their passion and knowledge of coffee with a wider discerning audience and open a new market for the home coffee drinker.
