We are all complaining more. We are all being heard more. Someone tells many more people if they get poor customer service than if it’s been great.

 

This session is aimed at owners of businesses of all types and sizes who want to make sure their teams are Customer Service-savvy.

 

You’ll look at good and bad Customer Service and how both can affect your brand, reputation, profits, shares, and much in between. You’ll learn more about what Customer Service covers as well as practical tips on how to communicate effectively and handle difficult customers and their complaints.

 

Expect an informal, fun and interactive look at the subject.

Who by? Jill Woolf, MD of leading strategic PR, communications and marketing consultancy Chimera Communications.

 

More about the trainer:

Jill has had a wide-ranging career in PR, sales and marketing for over 35 years working at senior management level within the blue chip, not-for-profit/charity and independent sectors.

 

Jill’s career started on local and national newspapers in London before moving to Brighton. Having founded and run her own PR consultancy since 2003, Jill has worked with an enormous variety of commercial and not-for-profit clients.

 

She is a Vice-President for Brighton Chamber and a regular mentor to start-up businesses and those on a path of development and growth, most notably for the NatWest Entrepreneurial Accelerator in Brighton. She was a national judge in the 2018 Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Jill is also a mentor for the Entrepreneurship Programme at the School of Business, Management and Economics at the University of Sussex; as well as a member of the Dragons’ Den panel at the University of Brighton Business School.
