We are programmed to resist change and so when it is presented to us, we naturally recoil from it. However, if you use the appropriate toolkit you can easily gain commitment and engage with change without the pain. Now is the time to make brave steps forward.

Duration: 90 minutes

Overview: In this course the leader will learn how change can create psychological pain and how to use tools that will by-pass the negative response and enable people to feel empowered and appreciated through changes.

Designed for: Anyone who would like to know how the brain science can be used in leadership practice. Managers and Leaders of all levels who need to ensure positive and sustainable implementation of changes

Aim: To enable the leader to recognise the symptoms of change resistance and angst and develop suitable methods for overcoming this through positive and supportive techniques.

Objectives:

  • Understand how cognitive dissonance can undermine change programmes for people and cause stress and distress
  • Apply some of the latest research that will enable them to promote change so that their team embrace rather than fear it. (SCARF)
  • Create an action plan for trending and tracking the change ecology

Course follow ups: there is a course of 2 x webinars: The 3 Myths and What Really Promotes Behavioural Change and How to Create Impact through the Neuroscience of Viral Change, videos, blogs or podcasts to follow up this course
