About This Event
The aim of this event is to provide an in-depth understanding of WSX Enterprise grant process and how you can write a compelling grant bid.
Whilst many people are working from home in these uncertain times it is our hope that small businesses are able to devote some time to plan their businesses recovery and think about future plans. If you are looking at your strategy going into 2021 and your plans hope to bring around business growth, WSX Enterprise would love to give you some information about the grants we have available.
Who should attend?
This workshop is for business owners or decision makers that are in the planning phase of a project that aims to bring business growth. The business must have been successfully trading for at least the past 12 months and is now looking to grow. You could be looking to facilitate growth by improve resilience, creating jobs, Investing in equipment and machinery that helps increase production capacity, develop new products, exploit new markets or enhance innovation.
Why should I attend?
You are keen to understand if a grant could be suitable funding for a project you are planning. The aim of this workshop is to give you all the tools you need and answer any questions you may have to put your best foot forward and apply for our grants.There will also be opportunity to network with other business owners in a similar growth phase and share best practice.
What will I take away from the event?
You will know if your project is eligible for a grant, what to include in your application and what is expected from the grant panel. You will also understand the grant process, procurement guidelines and payment requirements. You will also receive additional tips and guidance, giving your application a better chance of being approved.

This event enables you to fully understand the grant process; the key principles can then be applied not only in applying for other grants, but in applying for future funding and investment.

Who can I speak to after the event? What happens next?
WSX Enterprise Access to Finance team will be on hand at the event with availability to book in a follow-up meeting to discuss match funding and financing options, check over your completed application and make any recommendations. They will also be able to signpost you to any other support that may be available to your business.
