It's time to make your mark: Introducing Ingenuity
Do you have a great idea that could help drive the UK's recovery and rebuild a better society post-coronavirus?
Or do you have the skills and experience to help develop the next generation of changemakers?
Ingenuity has been established to drive the UK's recovery, and the discovery of sustainable business solutions, to help rebuild a more inclusive economy, society and environment following Covid-19.
Launching in September 2020, Ingenuity is looking to invest over £400,000 in bold new ideas that make a difference to the world we live in.
The programme is delivered via an online insight and learning platform, regional Challenge Summits and a national business plan competition with significant investment and support.
For 2020, Ingenuity is looking for bold new ideas that can address four key Challenges: Build Better Communities, Tackle Climate Change, Improve Health and Create Prosperity.
Sussex Innovation is incredibly proud to host the South Coast Activity for 2020.
How can I take part?
Future Business Founders:
Students, alumni, researchers, staff and those associated with an Ingenuity partner organisation who are interested in setting up an impact-led business. Future Founders can also be individuals from outside the university community who are interested in creating a new, impact-led business.
If you are yet to find your own idea, but are passionate about creating impact, Ingenuity would still love to hear from you! On the application form, just share what area you want to focus on, and how you're committed to tackling the challenge you're wanting to solve.
You can take part with an existing business idea, but you must have been trading for no more than six months at the time of applying.
Further eligibility FAQs and terms and conditions can be found here.
Regional Pioneers
Individuals from corporate, SMEs, or public and third sector organisations who want to understand the social and environmental issues in their area better. Regional Pioneers will be asked to set-up or develop a new impact-led business project within their own organisation.
Business and Challenge-specific mentors
